Top Ten Tuesday #1

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list for everyone to answer.

January 7 2014: Top Ten Goals/Resolutions For 2014 (bookish, not bookish or a blend)

 1. Learn some web design- I want to make my blog prettier!

2. Socialize with other blogs- I have a bad habit of reading blog posts and not commenting.
3. Participate in challenges- I love challenges and they keep me motivated.
4. Social media- I am terrible about updating Twitter and Facebook.
5. Goodreads- I haven't been very active on Goodreads lately and I miss my friends!
6. Schedule posts- I have a bad habit of not writing posts right away and skipping to the next book.

7. Update blogroll- I have added a bunch of new blogs that I follow but haven't updated them to the blogroll.

8. Participate in more blogtours- It's fun.

9. Make my blog a priority- As much as I love reading it's all for nothing if I don't keep blogging which I love!

10. Participate in more memes- I love Feature & Follow Friday... I'd love to find more to add to that.

    I believe almost all of your goals are also mine lol.

    Except the web design, I am almost finished all my classes in that. If you need help when I am done I can help you, I am a graphic designer so if you need anything let me know but I do like your design!

    I am AWFUL at commenting and social media. I am just not very outgoing and it takes a lot for me to comment. I want to add a blogroll to my blog so I can follow all the blogs I love easier. I miss so much on Twitter trying to find everyone in my list.

    I hope you accomplish all your goals!!

      I follow so many blogs it's hard to keep up my favorites. I've been looking at some free courses on web design and stuff for now I think I might just watch them until I can get the programs needed to do more. I'm working on it!

    So many of these are things I hope to work on as well! Web design, scheduling posts, interacting with the blog community. I also need to figure out exactly what blog tours (and blog hops) are! Yeah, I've got a lot to learn. Thanks for inspiring me!

      There are different blog tours... I use Goddessfish. They post the available tours on their blog and you sign up for ones you are interested in. As far as blog hops go just search for book memes.

    Yeah, I am terrible at updating my facebook page, too. I just forget and then have to upload five posts one right after the other.

      I had an alarm on my phone to update Facebook but I stopped it because it annoyed me... might need to restart that.

    I am terrible and writing reviews on time. I create a draft for books when I start them. I have 21 waiting for reviews. Yikes!

    I definitely need to participate in more blog tours as well, but I think I need to choose books that I actually will like. Most of the blog tours that I've participated in the past were for books that I didn't really like or just barely liked. All the blog tours that I really want to participate in our really competitive, so I think I'm going to aim for them instead of settling for ones that I don't really want to participate in.

    I agree with your Goodreads goal. I'm terrible at actually participating with conversations on there. I need to get better at it!
